CAD Chain

Here are the first images of the CAD chain links I mentioned in the last post:

This is a rendering of the links done by David Valle (who built the forms from my design), to show how the links would look in metal. 

The forms were created in wax with a 3D printer, and they are incredibly fragile. These waxes can be cast directly into silver or gold. The smallest link is just 2 cm in length.
